Want it to work!!

I love this app so much. Used it on my old iPhone 4s. Upgraded to a 6s and downloaded the app to the new phone but every time I record it always plays back crackly. Is this common?
I checked to see if it was my phone. When recording sound through other apps the playback sound quality is crystal clear. Why Voice Jam, why? Youre so awesome. How do we make it work? Please!
